Licensing Options

You may bundle DiskTracker with your product by arranging one of the following licensing arrangements with Portents, LLC:

• Unregistered - For distribution to unregistered to users, the responsibility of acquiring a license is left to the individual. DiskTracker is distributed under the shareware system; users may use the product up to 30 days before registering. A single-user license is $20, a site license is $400, and a world-wide license is $1600. Distributing DiskTracker unregistered leaves users with a "hidden cost" when purchasing your product.

• One-time fixed-rate licensing - The preferred option for fixed-volume distribution; when distributing to a known number of users, this option has the lowest cost-per-unit. Portents, LLC can customize DiskTracker to seamlessly integrate with your product and corporate image.

• Per-copy (royalty-based) licensing - For distributing DiskTracker in a large, but unknown volume, royalties are per distributed copy. Unit royalties are substantially less than single user fees. Royalty rates are flexible and negotiable. Portents, LLC can customize DiskTracker to seamlessly integrate with your product and corporate image.
